Description: THE GAME WON'T LET ME REGISTER >.<
Donotos - May 9, 2006 05:46 AM (GMT)
 I downloaded the game, and then there was a component missing, called "bink32.dll". I solved that problem by downloading a different private server game client and taking the bink32.dll from that client. After that my game worked. BUT AFTER THAT CAME THE REAL PROBLEM- THEY DIDN'T LET ME REGISTER!!!!
I went to the website for Dragon RO, but the Control Panel says I have to register in-game. After trying 56 times to register in-game, browsing the whole site to see if I could find something to help me, I COULDN'T PLAY!!!! SOMEONE PLEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAASSSEEE HELP ME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111 :( :( :( :( :( :( :( I'm getting realy mad.... :bite: :bite: :bite: :bite: :bite: :bite: :bite:

Boy im just starting to dl the game its not a good fealing to hear this kinda thing, i remember in another private server it said the same thing to register in the login screen of the game, they were wrong though, you really had to register in a hidden area around the site. Hopefully this gets an answer before i have to go though hell aswell.

You need to type in at the login screen...
yourname_M if your a male character
or
yourname_F if you are a female character
after that you can create your first character. Just so you know, if you logout and come back in, you will need to remove the _M or _F before loging in. Otherwise it will think you are trying to create a new character.
The registration system seems to be working fine otherwise. Good luck and have fun playing!

Um little help, i also got that blink32.dll error. Now what server is it that contains it
Millions Knives - May 9, 2006 04:26 PM (GMT)
ok forget about that blink one i got that fixed, now theres another prob. mainley i just start sakx, the window just pops up for about .01 sec then just dissapears. nothing else happens.

change screen resolution to 16 bits
Hedgie - May 9, 2006 07:16 PM (GMT)
If that doesn't work...
----
Right click on sakx and go to properties. Click on the compatibility tab and change it to what ever os your using. This might fix it.
----
As saga mentioned, it might be 16bits.
----
My other computer doesn't allow me to play the game in window mode or in a resolution lower than 1280 in full screen mode.
----
Dose that help any?

you're lucky it was the devs that responded, and not Kanoga or zobbin

lol good to hear you figured it out- I remember when I played the official server I had this wierd error where it would start to load the screen and just freeze- had the problem for around 2 months (luckly this was during their beta)- what made it worse is that the tech guys would NOT email me back with anything more than a "gee, you should really see if that's in the tech q and a on the site"- which of course it never was- Finally, the whol comep broke down and my parents just replaced it XD
Problem solved.

lol! I had a similar problem when installing my third computer. I couldn't use ATI 3D Rage video card with the game. I gave up and threw away the pc and just used my secondary pc instead lol. Did you have to install a new video card?

Hedgie - May 11, 2006 02:07 AM (GMT)
damn! how do you play RO? my secondary pc uses a 64bit videocard and is laggy as heck (1ghz processor and 312mb of ram?). Well.. then again I play at 1600x1200 on that pc and so do i on this one. I can't imagine 4mb videocard... really. I hate my 128mb ati videocard so that must mean i'm spoiled?
