Ok i have just noticed recently that the guild Treasure boxes arnt dropping what they shud be anymore... sometimes they drop 3 carat diamond and a ygg berry and thats it whereas before it used to drop chainmail, muffler, 3 carat diamond, shoes, buckler etc and on about 70% of the chances OCA's now they just drop crap all... is this a glitch or an downgrade? or what ever lol.. im just concerned cuz i blow about 2-3 mill on castles everyday and i dont get my worth for it :rolleyes: so uh whats the sypnosis?

My assumption would be this:

Since WoE is only being held on two days and then the town switches, that means a guild has MASSIVE amounts of time to loot the guild treasure (three or four weeks with one treasure a day! thats 21-28 treasures.) The drop rates would NEED to be adjusted because of this. Sure, it means that a lot less will be received, but on the same token, think of how much time you HAVE to guild treasure it up!

Well I would have to agree what the drop rates need to be lowered a bit, but what we have been getting lately just down right sucks....you can get some of the stuff walking about Prontera Field....I mean seriously?

It's fine to lower the rates but don't make them where it is not worth investing in a castle. Why would a guild want to spend millions of Zeny to keep castles if they don't get anything for them?

yea, the only issue is that it still cost us the same ammount of zeny as it used too. its true the money isnt exactly worth it. the rates dont need much of a boost, but they DO need one.

i agree with Gohan greatly on the spending zeny bit... i rekon the higher the investment the higher the drop rates for good stuff.. i only get like 1 or 2 OCA's per castle and i have to fend for 22 guild members =/... it was fine before.. its plain crap treasure now... gm advice preferbably Jaylor or saga

This needs to be fixed also, The fact is, Castles arnt worth the fight anymore. Why spend money on all the investments of keeping defending and treasure, then potions to defend it yourself and die a million times..when you get 1 OCA and a jellopy? ...Useless!

I personally enjoy spending money on nothing. Makes it fun because I have to go get more money to get more of nothing. It reminds me of state and goverment taxes. You work you ass off just to give everything back.

Fun stuff. And I Havn't seen an OCA yet, so you people are lucky.

I think dropping the castle rates from 9x to 1x is a bit too much :o
IMO something like 3x drops would be just fine ^^

i might think raising it to 2x, consider that based on the amount of castles some may have, it would bring a damn hell unbalance, ill see whats fit

well actually it wont bring much of an imbalance. those guild that have a ton of bases also have a ton of members to split the stuff between. 3x or 4x would be worth the fight id say. the reason we fight so hard for WoE is because the reward is good. the reason people join guilds is so they can get a share of the action. its no fun if theres not enough for everyone to get a share. even the newer players. i propose a poll. choices being

2x
3x
4x
5x

people will be honest.

(the point is: as a pirate i know. if the men dont see treasure, mutiny will rise and the ship will sink)

Well.. As my guild is pretty new, I'd prolly never get a castle yet.
But if the miracle SHOULD happen, and I got ahold of a castle, for the entire period to the next WoE, then I'd very much like my guild to get something for our efforts.

Wouldn't be any fun competing against level uber people, and loosing all the time, finally getting a castle, and then getting a total 100k zeny's worth of items for it XD
