Yes, the Ice Pick is droppable in game sooo you cannot quest for it. My apologies... good luck with getting a hold of one. I know Nuke was able to get one off of his first LOD so maybe you'll get lucky too.

HOW TO ASK FOR AN ITEM:

Its fairly simple:

Lets imagine you want an Ice Pick, you go to the forums and make a topic on the quest section saying

Q> Ice pick

Then the quest GMs will look at the message and will give you a quest within the next 48 hours with the following stamp:

I am pretty sure that was just an example that way Saga did not have to think of a real quest for an item that is questable. If it is droppable in game you can't quest for it I am afraid? At least that is what I thought.

ok now im going to butt in. NO WHERE in the rules topic does it say ANYTHING about not being able to quest for items that are dropped by monsters.

'DO NOT ASK' LIST

- Refines (ie. +10 blah blah)
- Cards! (ie. doppelganger card)
- Spawn monsters (ie. crystals)
- Levels (ie. nuh duh.)
- Quest Items (ie. mother's nightmare for kahos. See below for more clarification)
- "GM Items" (ie. Kaho horns or Balmung)
- Things that can already be obtained by NPCs in-game:

so that is out the window.
and there IS an IRO quest for this just like there is for almost everything else. either this doesnt matter, or it does. not it matters whenever the GMs say it does. all im asking is get the rules straight and be consistant with them. either give her a quest, or tell her to get the IRO quest

Lol ShadO you have been very touchy lately about the quest section...
It's not like we're trying to difuse a bomb here... "Cut the red wire!" "No not red! Blue!" ... there is time to deliberate, it really is -not- that serious.

You cannot quest for items dropped in game. If you read my first post in this topic I told XX she would not be allowed to have a quest for this... BUT

Saga did make a quest for this... be it an error or whatever... there is a quest for it.

That quest is hard enough I would have no quarrels with XX completing it. You may either complete that quest or kill the Lord of Death y amount of times.

When i look that quest what saga made... its pretty hard and now im killing like LoD 2 times at day so lets see if i get that Ice Pick :rolleyes:
