Title: Comments on The Guide
Punisher - October 9, 2006 08:07 PM (GMT)
soooooo we don't patch it up? It's good as is?
Jaylor - October 9, 2006 08:12 PM (GMT)
What does your question mean? In the guide it talks specifically about patching
ImmunityBow - October 9, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
Jay, since you can get it up on the forums like this and all, feel free to use any screenies I had of the patchers and the like.
Punisher - October 9, 2006 08:29 PM (GMT)
Well I was thinking because I open both kRO AND sakray individually, it patches that way, I load up dRO, Grav*ty ERROR'D!
Jaylor - October 9, 2006 08:33 PM (GMT)
Nope, just follow the guide. You don't open kRO or Sakray individually at all. Just follow the steps and it will work
Punisher - October 9, 2006 08:53 PM (GMT)
I followed it perfectly... here's the result:

How could you have downloaded kRO and Sakray already? You shouldn't be able to post a result with the phrase "I followed it perfectly" for quite some time.
If it doesn't work, try installing to a whole new folder, rather than your current one.
Gohan - October 9, 2006 09:49 PM (GMT)
I suggest a FULL delete. Then create a new Grav*ty Folder. Then start ALL over.
Punisher - October 9, 2006 10:02 PM (GMT)
I made a whole new dRO folder. Anyone know where their headquarters are?
ImmunityBow - October 9, 2006 10:07 PM (GMT)
Grav*ty. Inside of the Grav*ty folder should be the RO folder.
Punisher - October 9, 2006 10:53 PM (GMT)
I put it in as C:/Program files/dRO, due to the fact that I'm planning to have many RO servers.

Alright. Then it should be Program Files\dRO\Grav*ty\RO anyway.
Punisher - October 9, 2006 11:09 PM (GMT)
Meh... I'm trying to add it to a copy of a working RO client folder... it shold just overwrite the other server's info and grant me access without error.
EDIT: It works now, but when I try to log in, it says "Rejected from server". Hmm...
spexa - October 10, 2006 12:32 AM (GMT)
- Problem fixed -
Well.. not really. Seems the registration has gone all loopy again, im able to manually create accounts in the mean time but jaylor and i are looking into this problem now.
Edit: Resgistration is now fully working <3

now all the armor color is weird. What the hell?
Jaylor - October 10, 2006 03:18 AM (GMT)
What do you mean the armour colour is weird? A different server sometimes has different palettes than what you're used to
Jimmy - October 10, 2006 07:51 AM (GMT)
Umm, yeah i hate to point this out, but these questions are meant to be in the request assistance section or bugs and glitches section.
ON TOPIC: Nice Guide Jay, Nice and simple. I like it.
Jaylor - October 10, 2006 01:15 PM (GMT)
Tis okay, they're actually about the first set up of RO, so they can be here too. Thanks for the complement
Punisher - October 10, 2006 07:31 PM (GMT)

look.
Gohan - October 10, 2006 07:38 PM (GMT)
This was an issue a while back.....I think we had like a patch or something? Someone should be able to find it....I forget what the solution was.
Witch of Tishapecfmov - October 11, 2006 02:28 AM (GMT)
I dunno why he's complaining. I think that is really cool! :P

Jaylor, any way that you can use DAP for the SAk/ RAG links? (had a nasty trojan that deleted most of my RO)
mrgogogas - October 12, 2006 01:04 AM (GMT)
^ That was mager. I supposes he forgot to log in.
Jaylor - October 12, 2006 01:36 AM (GMT)
I don't believe that the link will work with DAP, however I downloaded it and Norton scanned it and found nothing. You can use DAP if you wish on another link you might find.
I will try and find another link that is DAP-worthy, though I believe there is a higher change of a trojan in an open link than there is in a click-to-download link.
mrgogogas - October 12, 2006 01:45 AM (GMT)
I happen to have a trojan/backdoor due to the setup that mager gave me. I have the DVD for it still, but...
Vic, if you want it, I'll give it to you at school tomorrow.
Jay, we'd love it if you could get another link that is DAP-worthy and lacks trojans. If you can do that, we will worship you until we get bored and go to play dRO! Which will be after around 23.7 seconds. ^_^
Jaylor - October 12, 2006 01:53 AM (GMT)
Filefront has partitioned downloads, can you use DAP with them?
kRO:
Part 1,
Part 2,
Part 3Sakray:
Part 1,
Part 2

You definately patched the dRO client to it's fullest? If so, and the colours are still like that, I can get a download up for the correct palettes.
Punisher - October 13, 2006 02:41 AM (GMT)
go for it, mr. speenatch, cheese and mispucha. I'll wait here.... wait... I'll be back on monday! >_<
Jaylor - October 13, 2006 03:43 AM (GMT)
I rar-ed up my palette folder, click
here to download it. Unrar it to RO/data, and replace anything it asks you to. Let me know if it helps.
Punisher - October 18, 2006 02:17 AM (GMT)
ooh... that final palette color ish secks. *USES IT*
