In my poll "What do you want for this server" It was evident you are all PVP lovers! And since you all love PVP so much, why not a WHOLE town dedicated to PVP?

You ask me "but.. we have a PVP room for that, why do we need a town?"

Good question.
Fact of the matter is, In the PVP room you cannot kill guildies. which is annoying if your guild is trying to learn how to PVP for woe. Also. you LOSE EXP! thats stupid! isnt it?

So. this NEW PVP town will have:

~ PVP on all the time.
~ The town will allow guildies to be able to attack each other.
~ A wider area to PVP in.
~ NO loss of EXP upon dieing.

Talking to PVP lovers online yesterday, We decided that:

~ We need a town that poeple wont get ganked while traveling to the WOE castles (that took woe towns off the list)
~ We need a town that is NOT laggy (Yuno is a perfect example, if it wasnt laggy that would be on the top of my list but whos good at PVP in lag?)
~ We need a town that not many people visit, so people wont get ganked while shopping ("ok.. lemme get some more red poti..SWOOSH!BLARG!")

So. the town of slughter is in your hands. Choose wisely :P

I'm going on to visit Hugel and Izlude, since i already know Morroc and Lutie well.

:EDIT: My votes on Izlude. It's fairly simple and it IS the warrior after all :P

Hugel seemed interesting too though.. and maybe it could be better, since new comers might not know that Izlude is a PVP town (if it will be chosen), and in other servers, they visited it often.. But my vote is off to Izlude ^_^

My vote goes to Hugel, because I wouldn't want it to be any of the start towns, and I use lutie for leveling novices, so it would suck if people were pking me while trying to level and stuff.

not morroc. Estpolis is the mayor of that and i don't think he'd take kindly to violence in his hometown... hugel or izlude get my vote.. .stull to decide which though'

Not Morroc, I bring noob chars there to get random junk. Izlude for the win. I like the Random MVP idea though....but if you do that, get rid of MVP rooms or charge for them. I don't know >>

That's bound to make dRO corrupt. No one will be able to MVP besides Gaara or people with everything in the game ever. New players and people who aren't quite as good, wouldn't have a chance at all.

Depends on what the town is filled with. I can MVP 90% of the things in the game with a little help and time....

What would be awesome is a scipt that spawns 1 random MVP at a time like a bloody branch.... that way only one MVP would be in the town at a time.

PvP in Morroc would be good for my economy, I think we should have it there :D. Then again, as mayor of Morroc, I must keep my citizens safe. So please, stay away from civilian buildings.

If it was full of MVP's it would encourage people to go in partys, other than that the only challenge is bio3 and not many people are level 90, <_<

Yeah that might prove to be fun....but then it would also get rather boring and old real fast with the healer right there.....

ie: Pull the MVP to the healer, then beat it up, heal, beat it up, heal, beat it up, heal....ect

I don't ever want to add more mvp rooms to DRO, so making the whole town like that would just make it really easy for certain people to mvp every kind of boss out there, and get all the rare items.

I mean any noob monk could prolly AS some random boss to death, at like lvl 60...or a berserked LK could just stand by the healer and not worry about dying.....

I think we should just stick with pvp.

We have a pvp room...only issue is the loss of EXP....that is why they thought to just put it in the town...where if you die you don't lose EXP.

Have patience.

Plus we cant attack allies and theres no proper warper for it, so no-one uses it. :P

The warper is in every town npc- room is called "PVP Room"

This poll is JUST for a PVP town, If you want a MVP Room, ild Definitly consider it but i agree that it should AT LEAST a map walk to get to it and ild love to get rid of the MVP room, thats just to easy.

MAKE AN MVP TOWN WITH NO HEALER NPC! Make atleast a map walk to it if you want, make it a 3 map walk. Hell, make a quest to gain a key to get into it if you like, MVP towns pwn though! You HAVE to go in partys otherwise you just get powned by the big guys. Don't put any bio3 MVP's in there though, drops are too pwn :lol:

a MVP room that is a fair distance and a little work to get to we woud allow. We would NOT allow ANY such thing as a town dedicated to slaughtering MVP's. that what Fields and Dungeons are for.

Maybe there are, just at different times, or there are people giving their opinion who don't play so much anymore, but they still visit the forums :S
