Lalabu - October 23, 2006 12:41 PM (GMT)
I made this topic since.. discussion was happening in Chars..
Could someone moved those posts here, and sticky this? ^_^
Thanks

I got an idea for my character;
Does anyone know Full metal alchemist? Well id like him to have alchemy later on. He still wont be over powered. But in every game, your character gets stronger and new skills for the newer and tougher monsters. So who thinks i should get this "ability" later on?

(Got this idea when Nick transmuted his tonfas)

Witch of Tishapecfmov - October 23, 2006 11:54 PM (GMT)
Haha! I love it! It should either been training or level up to very basic alchemy (i.e. making mild potions and remedies)

Lalabu - October 24, 2006 12:01 AM (GMT)
No no, alchemy from the show, they turn lets say a steel bar, into a steel sword, of the equivalent amout of steel. :P

And yes i plan to keep it basic.

CuisinartBlade - October 24, 2006 03:50 AM (GMT)
f**k the law of conservation of mass is what i say. go transmute your mom!

ask me ingame, and i'll teach you proper alchemy (when Queen Wilfred takes his inflated head out of his buttocks and stops hogging the action)

Witch of Tishapecfmov - October 24, 2006 12:41 PM (GMT)
Wilfred: I'm not hogging the action. I'm merely responding to the flurry of antipathy against me!!! What have I ever done wrong?

Me: yes....whatever HAVE you done wrong... ^_^''

Lalabu - October 24, 2006 10:07 PM (GMT)
Witch, i like how your char dosent remember when the other dude takes over.
In a great series of books theres a guy who gets possesed by a 500 year old spirit, his ancestor. He dosent remeber anything of 4 years of his life because the spirit was controling his body, trapped in his own mind :o. Now the spirit is back, but in harmony with another decendant.. hes now king :o :P

The series is called: Les chevaliers d'émeraude

Its french, i dont think the english version is out yet..
My character kind of has 2 personalities too.. cept theyre both aware of each other :P

Now its alright, but before, you were so protective of Scipio...

Lalabu - October 25, 2006 01:57 AM (GMT)
LEEME SOME ACTION! :P

Witch of Tishapecfmov - October 25, 2006 02:59 AM (GMT)
Wilfred is not dead, I just withdrew him to let the other characters develop and create a new non-Wilfred based storyline. If you want to search for Wilfred, please do. But I withdrew him to further the story.

Alright. I wasn't implying that he was dead. Just asking that Scipio be allowed a little more fight ^_^

Demon Larkham - October 25, 2006 09:40 AM (GMT)
Pardon me... *waves shyly* Would any of you be so kind as to tell me... What's going on so far in the story... And perhaps, what the setting is at the moment? The physical settings that is... I would greatly appreciate the hospitality, and I will ask for nothing more, if that is what you wish. *bows* If it is too much to ask, then I beg for forgiveness, and I will stop asking questions u.u

CuisinartBlade - October 25, 2006 11:47 AM (GMT)
well, since it *IS* 18 pages in length (around 40 in MSWord) i'll type up a short summary today.

Lalabu - October 25, 2006 12:43 PM (GMT)
ZOHMYGOD. Another Topic will be what is the story so far for newcomers! I'll get on it right now! (I have school soon so i dont know if i can finish)

:EDIT: DONE. Oh and, Larkham, please make a character first ^_^ (Link is in my sig, big greenish square)

ImmunityBow - November 12, 2006 06:19 PM (GMT)
By the way guys, just so we know, can you all tell what your character's weaknesses are?

For instance, Tyrell's weakness is a huge one: Magic. Just looking at harmful magic will harm him, and helpful magic isn't as helpful to him as it is to others. This is why he said "Magic, how you all disadvantage me with it".

Now, with people like Nick, there is no weakness I can see. Immediately finding out who Anistaze was, belonging to a powerful group that had no mention in the past, and beheading him in a single blow is something that gives him a huge advantage over Tyrell and Aygen, per se. Tyrell and Aygen are the only ones that don't have some sort of advanced edge over everyone else. Tyrell has intelligence, but it has not really helped him so far. Aygen has a slight bit of magic, that was nullified by every other character almost immediately. Therefore, Aygen has been the most interesting character so far.

See what I mean? Scipio seems to be a bit tipsy, but a more solid weakness would help, especially with extremely enhanced physical senses and prowess. Same with Sethfred, he might lose control very often, but that doesn't really help anyone else subdue him. Jaylor I'm not too sure about yet, because I don't know enough. Anistaze has just been beheaded.

CuisinartBlade - November 12, 2006 11:00 PM (GMT)
you should have considered skills and equips more closely when making your d00d, durr... Nick is going to town to do some minor equip changes. if you want you can come too... maybe even learn a spell or two...

Witch of Tishapecfmov - November 13, 2006 12:13 AM (GMT)
I am extremely against the posting of a weakness...that should be figured out as a result of the game, not out of a post on the character.

ImmunityBow - November 13, 2006 01:43 AM (GMT)
@Willie: Alright, as long as he HAS one.

@Phreak: And making a character essentially useless in combat happens in the actual RP, not in the char creation. As far as I can tell, your char descript was extremely vague and basically no one could know that your character would be omniscient, and two steps under omnipotent.

CuisinartBlade - November 13, 2006 02:08 AM (GMT)
LOL my character is *far* from either of those...

Lalabu - November 13, 2006 02:15 AM (GMT)
Scipio.. well, he cant see magic. AT ALL. Maybe sense "a disturbance" but not really. He has a kind of alter ego, wich is seriously.. well wildcat-like. But i dont want to say too much..

ImmunityBow - November 13, 2006 11:31 PM (GMT)
Alright Lalabu, I'll take that.

@Phreak: How is chopping down half a forest in less than an hour not powerful? How is belonging to a group that a person suddenly claims he is from, somehow having the tools to identify, and knowing where every single demon attack is not almost all-seeing? Alright, I don't want to butcher your character, but at least make him beatable some time.

ImmunityBow - November 15, 2006 02:40 AM (GMT)
Phreak, Willie, you guys are doing something drama people call "blocking an offer". This is when a suggestion of a way to advance the story is done, and walled up by another person. It isn't very advisable. For example, I was kinda surprised when Scip kept on accusing Tyrell of stealing his money, so I sort of played along instead of going on with what I had originally thought would be the outcome. This is an RP, which is so close to improv that blocking an offer is definitely not the best thing to do. Just a heads up.

Ok, Immu, dont be so over sensitive. I'm just doing what my character would do. If Nick is going to come and attack me, I am going to fight back. Common RP-ing sense. If there is nothing going on for 2 or 3 days and no one is going to post, I will take the game into my own hands. The improv comment is perfect. If a scene started and is going nowhere, the best thing to do is end it fast and bring something new and story-driving into play.

ImmunityBow - November 15, 2006 03:33 AM (GMT)
Don't worry, Willie. I'm just worried about you and Phreak's attacking each other in more literal sense.

QUOTE
Sensing the rising hostility, Sethfred rose and gazed around. He noticed the new figure before him. The one that the mage with the shattered face referred to as Nick. The shotguns looked dangerous, but Sethfred was not concerned. He instead, walked over to Kazael who was dragging the boar. Kneeling down beside Kazael, Sethfred whispered into his ear:

-"He may be intolerable and rash, but do not waste your energy on frustration. That will weaken your magic and put you at risk in battle. I advise a clear head and intractable indifference when dealing with an annoyance like him."

With a smirk, Sethfred rose and aimed a large claw at Jaylor's forehead. Using telekinesis, Sethfred watched as the Regeneration Potion seaped out of Jaylor's skin and gathered in a small ball above his head. Sethfred drew the potion towards him and let it fall to the ground.

-"No shortcuts, mage. You must train yourself to regenerate your mana. Another potion like that and I may have to train you again with fireballs that could actually kill you...painfully."

Laughing deeply, Sethfred brushed passed an irritated looking Nick and sat down by the tree.

nick grinned "what a useless thing to do. do you really take me for an idiot?" once the potion comes in contact with blood it binds for thirty minutes producing a substantial mana regeneration over time. the only way to get rid of it would be to drain Jaylor's blood. and i do not advise you to do that." Nick unholstered one shotgun and aimed it at Sethred's back. "learn your place, Wilfred."

-"You truly must learn to not interfere when your not asked to, boy. And put that silly weapon away before you hurt yourself."

Sethfred chuckled to himself as he folded his arms. He noted the significant increase in Nick's rage. It would be the perfect way to test his new abilities.

See here? You guys are just fighting each other for control over whether Jay gets healed or not.

Witch of Tishapecfmov - November 15, 2006 03:39 AM (GMT)
hahaha, that's just cuz Nick likes to do stupid and useless things. The healing potion wasn't necessary. Sethfred was GIVING Jaylor time to heal and regenerate naturally.

CuisinartBlade - November 15, 2006 04:42 AM (GMT)
a story without fighting is like a peanutbutter and jelly sandwich without peanut butter or jelly.

Zarf - November 15, 2006 06:32 AM (GMT)
A sandwich with a truckload of peanut butter and/or jelly is no longer a sandwich.

ImmunityBow - November 16, 2006 12:53 AM (GMT)
A story with constant blocking is really slow.

CuisinartBlade - November 16, 2006 01:11 AM (GMT)
maybe if you'd actually do something i wouldn't have to desperately flail around trying to move the plot along.

good idea.

I like Morlocks story so far :o Awesomenessssseses

Lalabu - November 18, 2006 06:58 PM (GMT)
Leave Scipio in the dungeon for now. I'm doing a little solo story. For a short while.

Lalabu - November 19, 2006 05:47 AM (GMT)
Coolio Morlock, thats what i was hoping someone would post ^^

Kudos to Morlock for the nice subplot and villain!!!

P.S. If you need me to edit out anything about the Magister in Sethfred's vision, please let me know and I will edit as needed.

ImmunityBow - November 19, 2006 11:25 PM (GMT)
Magister... Latin for "Teacher". Why?

Thanks, I thought it was about time the game had one since we know the characters now  . '

No need for edits, I merely created the monster, I eagerly anticipated the players to make him grow and to contribute to our new villain. Please, don't hesitate to post something that may be of importance about him.
As long as there are no "LOloz I r tUPId veelan!" Kind of posts, then I am perfectly fine with it.

ImmunityBow - November 23, 2006 10:17 PM (GMT)
Careful, Phreak... Your latest post doesn't make any sense because Kazael is already in the process of taking us back to Tlaclandit
