Looks: Much of his face and upper body looks as if its made of shattered glass. Generally wears a blue cloak and runed mask to hide this. Eyes are known to be grey. Hair is known to be white.

Weapon: (Can be magic): Wields a freezing dagger. Can also wield ice and wind magic to some extent. Occasionally uses illusions to drive enemies into a state of paranoia. Also has the uncanny ability to negate or redirect certain spells with ease.
Quick or long resume of your character's past: Orphaned at a young age, Kazael was one day taken in by the Sorcerer Guild, where he would spend much of his life training in the arcane arts. Kazael soon became a very powerful, albeit arrogant, sorcerer, specializing in the realm of Wind and Ice magic. At one point in his studies, Kazael came across an ancient tome that spoke of a race of people known as the Galdric, a rare set of people whose blood are of the same line as the Elements, granting them greater powers. After learning that the study of the Galdric texts was forbidden in the guild, Kazael soon became obsessed with Galdric history and lore, devoting all his energy to learn more about this ancient civilization, regardless of the consequences. After all, no common knowledge is ever restricted. His superiors eventually learned of Kazael's lust for power, and attempted at first to persuade him out of his obsession. When it became apparent that Kazael would not change his mind, a few higher sorcerers attempted to subdue him. In the ensuing battle, Kazael killed two sorcerers and three guild trainees, to which the guild banished him on pain of death. Kazael left the guild, but continued his studies nonetheless, and soon managed to join the Order of Kabraxis, a very powerful assassin guild. At one point, Kazael came across a descendant of the Galdric, and soon attempted to drain him of his incredible powers. Unfortunately, as the Galdric descendant lay dying, he managed to leave a curse upon Kazael, shattering Kazael's face, greatly reducing his lifespan, rupturing some of Kazael's control of the arcane, as well as condemning him to horrible nightmares. Kazael then sought the Galdric and their artifacts for answers on how to lift the curse. In his search, he came across a set of ruins where a powerful healing artifact was rumored to be. Kazael soon found that the rumors were false, as he accidently activated a portal to this dimension. He now seeks a way back into his dimension, as well as a cure for his curse.
Other: Kazael is quite cynical, but seems to have a curiosity streak. He can occasionally be found tinkering with spells, illusions, and the occasional bits of machinery. Kazael also seems to possess the strange ability to reweave magic in midflight, allowing him to negate or redirect spells quickly and efficiently, a byproduct of absorbing a Galdric's powers. Unfortunately, in his cursed state, Kazael's own spells can be somewhat unstable and unwieldy. Kazael also suffers from horrifying nightmares when he sleeps, another effect of his curse. He seeks the power of the Galdric, but despite his casuality in assassinations, it seems the purpose for his search is not malevolent...
Strengths: Kazael specializes in stealth, speed, and messing with the enemy's senses.
Weaknesses: Most of Kazael's spellwork is focused about his dagger, therefore forcing him to get very close in order to make his attacks effective. He is also quite weak in open battle. He can cast stronger spells, but at high risk, for each casting is
highly unstable and inconsistant. He also has no medical knowledge whatsoever.
Abilities:
1. Kazael can focus mana through his dagger to sharpen the blade and freeze wounds.
2. Kazael can also fire small bursts of wind.
3. Kazael is also able to blend into his surroundings by casting out mana and then retracting it, bending some of the light around him, which renders him somewhat cloaked.
4. Kazael's ultimate attack consists of pulling an enemy's conciousness into his own and then falling asleep. Kazael's nightmares then begin attacking Kazael and his target, harming both their ethereal and physical form, as well as rendering both of them useless for the duration of the effect.
Acquired Abilities:
1. Through his initial work with Galdric arcana, Kazael learned how to absorb magical knowledge from others. By siphoning his own mana through a target, he can extract information and power from his vicims, and although this spell allows him to gain in strength, it has a few major drawbacks. This spell only effects Galdric artifacts and those with Galdric blood. This spell is also highly demanding, as it requires the caster to be near full strength, while the target must be greatly weakened (artifacts included). In addition, because of Kazael's cursed state, this spell is highly unpredictable, and carries with it a chance to transfer Kazael's mana into the target.
2. By absorbing the powers of a Galdric descendant, Kazael gained his ability to manipulate spells. By drawing on the power of the targetted spell, Kazael can redirect, reflect, and negate spells. A shielding aura also manifests around Kazael on occasion, though he cannot actually control it, other than to feed it more energy.
