Name: Asylum (Formerly Astraea, the Wyrd of Holy Magic)

Description: Very little is known about Asylum besides the fact that she is one of the Big Three, the founding members of the Legion. Her powers are strange for a person as evil as herself for they are entirely based in the Holy element. Her cousin is Læna, the Wyrd of Prophecy.

Title/Rank: Divine Intervenor

Temperament: She is always calm and almost never raises her voice. Her appearance changes with her temperament. When calm, she is always beautiful with red hair and pale, soft features. No known documentation about her angry state due to the fact that there are never survivors.

Race/Species: One of the Celestial Wyrds therefore similar to an archangel.

A Truncated list of abilities:
She has an enormous list of abilities that are not easy to explain. Several of her most common spells are as follows:
1) Temporal Manipulation - Asylum can alter the flow of time and can isolate specific temporal regions (i.e. can make one area age rapidly and one area freeze in time). This drains a MASSIVE amount of her energy. Freezing time, however, is easy for her.
2) Holy energy - she can manipulate holy energy to do many things from freezing a being solid to blasting them.
3) Holy Aura - the aura she emanates, when she activates it, is capable of dealing massive damage to any non-angelic being.
4) Hyde - hidden deep within her temper hides a alter-ego that none have seen and survived. Do not let this be unleashed.
5) Faustian Deal - the ability to make a trade with a mortal. In exchange for the being's soul, Asylum can grant them a request such as a new life, wealth, or power for a term set out in their agreement. At the end of the term, however, the person's soul is taken and is absorbed into Asylum.
