No, this isn't another SERVER IS DOWN WTF WTF thread, but since around 10AM (it's 3:20PM now) I haven't been able to connect to the character server, it just fails. Is it just me? No one else has posted an OMG THE SERVER IS DOWN thread yet, so I'm assuming the rest of you are still able to connect.

It used to be the login server was down, but now it's the char server.

Umm, maybe next time you should check the shoutbox coz its troublesome making new threads each time the server goes on ;)

Perhaps if the shoutbox was not a cesspool of stupidity. But, yeah, I'll skim that in the future. Sorry. :lol:

Shasta, the server computer has gone up mysteriously before.. after a period of time, maybe it will do it again... i remember last time there was no dRO for a week.. people went loco :crazy:

:jaw: :smack: :sword: .......i hate it........but for some reson it only did it when u log off...... b/c i was on and at the same time my friend loged offf and then tried to get back on and he couldnt...... :blink: ......then i loged of 4 a sec and tried to get back on and i couldn't.......AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!......................................................................HEY LOOK!!!!!!!!! the Character server is down, ppl can still be ingame if they logged on before the char server went down... its happened before, just need to wait for the server to restart i think :blink:

What Eca said last is true, the char server has been down with people ingame before. However, if you ask those people to go off it won't restart the server automatically either; I know this because once (not now obviously) it went down and I was the last respective player on and after I logged off it - no, it did not automatically pop right back up. ^^ Just so ya'know~
