Thousands of years ago, a young king was about to die on the battlefield. a little girl in a sundress offered a trade. she would take his life for eternal immortality and a vast kingdom filled with limitless resources. he, being young and foolish obliged. thus he became the Keeper of the Afterlife, later renaming that title to Undead King. He saw the passing of the ages. the wars, the fights. he sometimes picked sides. those that stood against his army of undead -- literally oceans of skeletons, zombies and even creatures long believed to be extinct -- perished. and as the bodies piled up, so too did his resources.
