Well I've taken a crack at artistic creativity again, once again using paint as my outlet since i have nothing else. Took about 5 minutes to make, but hosting it as a JPG made it look worse than it already was.... ah well....

I changed the "Wizard" font color and the file type to png. the image distortion is now MUCH LESS NOTICEABLE!

You've converted it from RGB to CMYK. The colour that you used to try to make it transparent is a little bit off, but otherwise, nice work! It'd be easily fixable in Photoshop, but... =D

But that would defeat the purpose of having an amazing paint avatar! XD

jk. I messed with the shading a bit so the transparency looks a lot better. Dunno if I want to change any more of it...

I guess I could try and improve the coloring on my signature... but you're the only one that's noticed the color difference so far =P

The biggest problem I had was with the render of the high wizard. There was a crapload of little white pixels on his border, and since i don't have a lasso tool or smudge, I had to color match individual pixeling. Twas a pain in the rear end! =D

That was put together in paint? Wow, it looks quite good :up:

Nice gradient, decently smooth and not overdone. Good work

Bottom font is a bit too complicated in my opinion, something cleaner (perhaps a sans serif Italics or Garamond) would help, though the upgrade in size is nice.

Colour is still slightly off, but it's not bad.

Who the f**k uses filters in Photoshop? XD

I guess I sorta do sometimes when I'm making kewl effects and backgrounds. NVM

Filters are used all the time if your doing things outside of buttons. You'll use like a combination of like 30 different filters, then level adjustments, blending options and so forth but you still use filters. But, this kind of use of filters is not for moar lens flare level :X

You guys are all pussies. You have to make your avatar 8000x6500 at 16-bit, and 360dpi. In the end reduce the size to 100x90 and then add lens flare, lots of it!!! I mean OVER NINE THOUSAND!!!! Then save as *.TIFF and upload to web.

I only recently got Photoshop. All my avatars thus far have been made in Paintshop Pro 7.
