THIS one can be regular, and it's a continuous event.
It's basicly find the odd one out. The GM spawns let's say a desert wolf in lutie. When you see this, screenie it. Then post it in here. (Or in a topic that someone might make if it's approved). And the GM should write down what he spawned where, since some players might cheat and dead branch. Once the monster has been found, you just scribble it off your list. And some of the things might be alot less obvious :P
So yeah, once found, you post it. GM finds you a prize, or we can have a list of prizes and make like categories that only GMs know of.

you would lose if your internet sucks or if you lagg.

mabe the gm could follow the monster around so no one cheats and that would make it easier.

oh and without the creeny and the posting its pretty much like hide and seek.

I think the game is supposed to be more long term? Like the GM would go around and spawn monsters on maps that do not belong there, but do it more than once in a day, so that the players could go around to different maps and find monsters that do not belong there. Taking like a week to find them?

If that would even work, I do not know how long monsters actually stay on a map....? Are they permanent until they are killed or do they reset by default?

The GM woulden't spawn one at a time. And I think the GM has better things to do Kinzoku :P

If you found the odd thing out, and don't feel like uploading a pic. Don't kill it.
And yeah Gohan, the GM writes down the ones he spawned and on what map. Then when a played claims to have found it. And it is in fact the good spawned monster. Then you kill it if he hasen't already. And you give the prize. And scraped off the monster from your little note book.

thats a cool idea, it may even encourage some exploration.

I think monsters stay on a map until killed, period (unless sevrer restarts heh). The GM can do this like 5 even 10 times a day on a new map everytime, and soon every map will have an odd one out. Then this can be really long term, so that players a month from now may find an odd monster, just something fun to watch out for as you go about your business. And if theres a server restartbecause of lag or something, the GM has that handu notebook you mentioned and can just respawn them all, which wouldnt take too much effort or time.

I was thinking of like 2-3 maps, one monster each. Since too many, you can dead branch and be the lucky one. Then again if a player cheats he could be like frozen for a period of time from fiding some. But he might find the real one and make sure no one finds it xD

to make it more interesting, why dont we say that you need two screenys, one of the monster, and another of the monster dead at your feet ^_^ proving you killed it

Yeah some verification should be in order.. but having a pic of the monster killed won't change much.. I was thinking maybe a typo in the name, but then it would be too obvious...

Problem is that with people like phreak, you'll find a baphomet at the poporing room in HT. Not good.
