Title: And you thought you knew Shakespeare...

You thought you knew Shakespeare? For shame... One cannot truly know Shakespeare as an author until one has read and understood much of his lost work. The entire work has yet to be collected, but some quotes have been made available to me. They are as follows:

"For those who hath not without thyne own self, mine eyes doth profoundly state thyne yonder."

"Verily, thyne heart doth forsooth myn yonder gall wyth bile and mystrie."

"Thy womanly sty doth caress myn night wyth thyne globules of transient pontification."

"Happily, the shrew-bearers, regretting twixt their veritable moon, must soon retire unto the Thane of Cawdor."

"Thy soul, dear cousin, doth yonder rhetoric with myn bare bodkin. Forsooth! This beast, tis a villain!"

"Myn eyes hath not the potency, nor exposition, of thyn verisimilitude doth yonder Thane betwixt of rhetoric souls."

"Forsooth! Myn eyes doth yonder Horatian. Tis not of noble birth of thyne foul knave thou hast irrefutably bewildered in the presence of thyne crafty Ides of March. Whither it be not for shame does the lark cry to wander shrew in thyne own castle?"

Happy reading

I can barely understand. Its like broken modern english. But its considered "poetic"

Heh not even, it's completely broken old english with no grammatical structure or sense

Shakespeare was a literary genius of his time. I actually enjoy reading most of his works.

Me too, many of them are fantastic. I particularly like Hamlet, and The Tempest is pretty good too

Hmmm... It's a good thing that I've read enough of his works to understand those quotes...
One of my closest friends is an English teacher so when I go visit her, it's pretty much like a book club. I need to find more friends who are my age...
