Hugo - July 8, 2007 02:45 AM (GMT)
I wanted to uninstal this stupid game from my computer lol xD and it did the exact same thing than on my old PC, it bugged during the uninstalation, at 97% and now, its stuck forever on my PC, evrytime i try to uninstal it it say that: Uninstall information file not found. Aborting Uninstallation.
So what am I supose to do with this huge crap?

Go to your RO folder. Highlight it. Shift-Delete.
Go to your start menu. Find Ragnarok Online. Delete the now-useless shortcuts.

It still lists it as a program in my add/remove programs in control panel.....and it won't let me delete that.

Aww... Jay, cmon now you know that the Windows registry does not like that. By deleting and not uninstalling, small black holes open within your harddrive.

well see now i did all this , but it still in my add/remove file list and i can't uninstal it from here, and now i can't re-instal the game, (i wanted to get a fresh new ragnarok because there was like 3 milion of server all mixed together -.-)
Hugo - July 9, 2007 02:14 AM (GMT)
ok, sry for double post but, i fixed it now, all my ragnarok is uninstalled (i re-instaled the version i had, and re-uninstaled it correctly), but now, The version that you offer on this forum is the newest one? and i cant get off from RebirthRO loll, in my add/remove file list, i have this: RebirthRO Small Client , and when i try to uninstal it, it say:
Invalid uninstall control file: C:\Program Files\Grav*ty\RO\Uninstall\uninstall.xml
And now when i instal ragnarok , evrytime i try to patch, it bug, and i get a pop up for sending this error to microsoft.

The version in the forums is either the newest one, or in the case of a newer one recently released, the one here is new enough to not make a difference.
If you uninstalled it completely, how does it still have any connection to this RebirthRO?
This RebirthRO sounds like it has its own installer, which then adds itself as a program listed in the program list. Did you try to uninstall that, or kRO, first?

Quick solution:
Reformat your hard disk. It probably needs it anyways.
=D

Though windoze needs a good reformat every once in a while. Once a year? You should use a backup drive or a laptop to store some important files and reformat it.
Note: This is just a tip, not a troubleshooting tactic that you must follow

I'd advise a reformat even more, then. What, may I ask, is so important that you can't just back it up? Prawns, perhaps? If it is prawns, then you DEFINITELY should reformat. >__>;
