No, I do not believe so. Manual patches are just as easy.

Easy for players a tad more difficult for GMs seeing as how for some reason it tends to mess up more on people computers than be helpful.

Actually manual patches are easier. But I'm just being too lazy to find the patch on my own. I guess I'll do it tomorrow or something.
