Ok so I have installed my ragnarok and sakray game client..

the patch has been downloaded on ragnarok already

but on my sakray game client while installing the game patch at almost the end

of the installation it say error on installing then there is an options to debug send

eror report or dont send...

PLS Help.. I'm not really good at computers should I reinstall sakray and my

ragnarok game again ????

I really want to play already

Try just reinstalling the SAK client and patching it.

You can also refer to the guide titled "How to install"

I've also encountered some crashing while patching Sakray. It crashes with the windows error to "send report" or "don't send". (When this happens you always want to choose "don't send")
Try reinstalling Sakray and patching again.

By the way, do you know what patch it crashed on?


If it still crashes, download this file and put it in your RO folder, replace what it wants to. Then run DragonRO.exe and it should work

I patched all the way up to November 7th or 12th one of those dates I am pretty sure.

i think it went all the way up to 10-10 bgm.rgz somthing so I'll reinstall sakray again and i'll patch it thx guys...

do i need to download sakray clien or should I just reinstall the downloaded file????

You should try redownloading it entirely, it may have been a corrupt download that was missing a file, making it crash.

[SIZE=7] :huh: i already patch both of my client (RO and Sakray) and downloaded your dRO patch client, when I run the exe file (DragonRO.exe) a small window appear, i click on the "start game" button and it says "unable to start application, wait for the patch process to complete" then I wait for the patch to progress, but I've waited whole day and yet nothin happen, no patch process appear... :( what should I do...? :o

Go into your RO folder and delete a file called neoncube.file then run DragonRO.exe again. It should patch, and a blue loading bar will appear and complete a few times. It should say Patch Process Complete at number 8. Then you can click Start Game and it should work.

I have a broblem of the same kind only with Rag.exe.
It goes well till it gets to 2007-10-17BGM.rgz file.
I tried reinstalling and redownloading but it didnt help.
I dont know what to do...
Im desperate...

Try this:
Go to C:/Program Files/Gravity/RO
Find the text file "patch_allow"
Open it
If it says "allow" then continue on, if not change it to "allow"
Right click it and go to properties
Check the "Read Only" box and press Apply

It might work. It worked a few times before for me.

Then run Patchup

The same thing with SAK.exe
Reinstalling and redownloading doesnt help...

All this was with RAG? Hmm. You can try to do the same thing with read-only files as you did with the RAG files, but with patch2.txt:
- Find the file it crashes on
- Open patch2.txt
- Find the filename and put a // before it (in the same way some other filenames in there will be)
- Save and then change to read-only
- Run sakray

It doesnt work... It passes the file but then crashes at another file but not BGM.rgz
It crashes at sdata file...
Any ideas?
I will be gratefull for any help.

dont touch Sak.exe use Sakray.exe

Just keep patching sakray and commenting out whatever files it crashes on
or
Play the way you are now, and see if you encounter any errors. (in my experience it keeps the patches it has already done, but leaves you without the newer ones. Also, you have downloaded the sdata.grf so you should be ok for now)

Alternatively, you can download this entire folder to your RO folder:
ftp://ragnarok.nefficient.co.kr/pub/ragnarok/SakPatch/

Then run Sakup.exe. I'm too lazy to try it, but I'm 95% sure it works.

There are so many different methods it's almost overwhelming isn't it.

Just pick some and try them until you find one that works :P

:rolleyes: Hi... im Genevieve from philippines and im new here, just want to try this server, does your dRO patch client work with pRO client, coz I've downloaded your patch client and follow all your instructions, my pRO/sakray Clients were completely patched but your dRO client wont patch... :shrug: what will I do... :unsure: can someone please help me...

As far as I know, it works only with kRO, sorry but you'll have to download the kRO setups to play

:o aw... but that will take me bout 6-7 hours downloading it even if I have a download accelerator and thats only for kRO client and another 6-7 hours for sakray, that will took me whole day... is there any alternative method... :(

unfortunately not yet. i'm working on a "slim" version of dRO that is only 1gb in size, but it's taking me more time than I would like

Mainly because of the sheer number of BGM MP3s and SE WAVs in this game.

He was taking out the back ground music and stuff and making it a basic RO client as far as I know...

my dragonro don't start updating! >.<

And why is that? Does it give you an error, or does it just take forever? It will take some time to get all the patches at first...
