Technically, any quest given on the forums is an official quest made for the item in question, and therefore any person can complete it and exchange the quest items to obtain the item. As we do not currently have any rules dictating how many quests a person can actively work on at one time, I'm going to have to say that I see nothing wrong with someone else completing the quest.

When a quest is made for an item, that quest is official and when it's done it's moved to the archives, correct? Someone else can do it and then trade the items in. So the only way it's different from an in-game quest is that you need to exchange the items with a GM. In-game, you can do a few quests at once, so why not with these quests?

You can't ask for too many at once, as it is unfair on the GMs, but you may partake in any amount.

The Quest was added to the archive and so in turn anyone can do the quest. But you do not need to constantly post in the topics detailing the amount of progress you have on the quest.

The idea behind this is to have custom NPCs that have all the forum quests in game so you do not need to contact a GM whenever you want a Quest item.
