so I decided to do a little experiment today. i wanted to see if it was possible to get 195 aspd unbuffed

turns out it is

~Requirements~

Job: Assassin Cross
Job Lvl: at least 64 (to get the necessary bonuses to AGI and DEX)
Skills: Left and Right hand masteries



~Equips~

HEAD TOP: Ghost Bandanna (+2 agi)
HEAD MID: Phoenix Wing (+10 agi)
HEAD BOT: anything

BODY: Thief Clothes [1] (+1 agi)
>Ancient Mimic Card (for every 18 base luk, +1 agi) (+2agi)

WEAPONS: 2x Stiletto[3]
> 6x Doppelganger card (+5aspd when compared to bare hands)

ROBE: Manteau [1]
> Baphomet Jr. Card (+3 agi)

SHOES: Boots [1]
> Male Thief Bug Card (+2 agi)

ACCESSORIES: 2x Nile Rose [1] (+10 agi)
> 2x Kukre Card (+4 agi)


~Summary~

in the end you should end up with

STR: 1+18
AGI: 99+49
VIT:1+12
INT: 1+10
DEX: 99+19
LUK: 36+17
Leftover Status Points: 410

ASPD: 191.

now you say "but cuisi! that's not 195! that's 191! you lied to me!" and indeed you're right. but I couldn't find ANYWHERE to throw in more AGI (unless you wanna put more IP into luck, but since you're a dagger sin, you don't) all you need to do is consume one awakening potion (trust me, compared to the other stuff here, it's almost too easy to get) and you're now the fastest lil sinx on the server.

EDIT: if you have any suggestions on how to get the amount of doppel cards down to at least two, please post here. any and all help is appreciated

change the garment to an Crest of the Rider of rogue (agi+5)
change the shoes to a thanatos odium card and put it in overgraded shoes (agi- 5, +1 agi for every overgrade above 5) (up to +5 agi)

that MIGHT take out the need for one of the doppels

I get 193 with 2 doppel cards on a jur, which ignore defense of emp / bosses & players and you can enchant EDP to pewpew.

To summise, Daggers is a huge waste of time and doppel cards.

well, daggers are more like 195 x2. its kinda nuts.

this was more an exparement to see if it was possible than anything. i chose dagger sins because of the extra weapon slots and the multitude of great daggers out there.

HEAD TOP: 4 Year hat +4 all stats
HEAD MID: Phoenix Wing (+10 agi) -- with nightmare card + 1 agi
HEAD BOT: anything

BODY: (valk armour +1 all stats with ancient mimic card)

WEAPONS: 2* main gauges[4] 8 doppel cards or
2* perfect double rapid +10 main gauche of berserk
2 doppels, 4 cecil damons, 2 phree (one less atsp then with 8 doppels but +80 hit)

ROBE: ancient cape [1], bapho jr card.

SHOES: Boots [1]
> Male Thief Bug Card (+2 agi)

ACCESSORIES: 2x Nile Rose [1] (+10 agi)
> 2x Kukre Card (+4 agi)

Stats: 99 agi, 88 dex, 90 luk, 40 str.


ATSP: --193 I think. With drinking a poison bottle, increase agi and blessing its 194. With Full adrenaline rush its 195. With berserk its 196, but you need LK seyren card.

Also 188 with daggers is damn good enough. With 195 it does more attacks than a sniper with a falcon and the falcon does 5 attacks for every 2 the sniper does.

195 atsp, with double attack. EPIC.

Go on a different server, get 8 doppel cards and 999+400 agi and you have 200 aspd

One had 8 doppels in two daggers and the other had 2 doppels in total.
2 doppels, 4 cecil damons, 2 phrees in two daggers. Sorry about the confusion though.

I believe 200 aspd kills the server if I remember correctly.

ah. what does cecil damon do? i forget. it might be better if I drop the doppels for cecils and add the 4 year aniversary and the nightmare hat (which should add on +3 agi)

no. you'll have enough aspd to hit the cap.

but that's useless. on those servers it's all about crit/lucky dodge. no one cares about flee so you only need enough agi to hit the aspd cap

LOL silly people. If someone on this server had a chance to obtain 8 legit dopple cards, I'd kill them in real life.

So are Katars except daggers don't ignore def and they miss.

Try adding Cecil damons and you'll be able to hit anything with 1 flee.

Daggers are KIND of cool - when you can slot elemental weapons to negate GR, otherwise - lets stop this madness :D

You go enchant poison, I go Evil Druid armour, you go QQ, I go pewpew.

You go elemental daggers, you can't hit me.

You go doppel blah blah blah etc, I go GR & raydric and annihilate you.

Daggers don't work for PVP - defacto! :D

Its not good for PvP Gaara is right. But for fighting monsters its pretty epic. EDP + box of storms with those quips gives you 16k double attacks with 99 str.

Well I'd have to say double dagger is my favorite build ever....i despise katars, imo they are best left for lvl'ing....With my current gear, none including doppels I obtain 185atk spd with duel wielding/awake/Bless&Agi. And well ask Gohan....I fair rather well against his 99 Sinx in a fight for the Emp. as far as not being able to use double dagger because the only element I can use is poison in which you would use evil druid/argiope, box of storms or any of the other element converters can make my weapons just about any element I want, and can be used on top of each other to change my element at will XD. anyhow, if I do ever get my hands on atleast one doppel I think I can probably get to 189 atkspd fully buffed, and that with double attack is imo Brutal XD. And of course I could always drink a poison bottle at the sacrifice of huge steady hp loss for a little more increase in atkspd.

Lol, yeah the game creators didn't think that one through very well. They should have made it a lvl 4 poison so you can't detox it.......oh well, our gain.

when you drink it you lose 1/4 of your hp THEN get poisoned. and the poison hurts, by the time you detox it you lose even more, deadly poison would take away atleast another 300 hp in 1 second which is the estimated detox time. (Unless your Morik, he'll drink and detox at the same time).

You do not lose 1/4 of your HP when you drink one. I tested it and detoxed after and it works ....lol which is pretty cheap IMO

The day any dagger sin beats my sin in a duel is the day I'll agree with wasting the time & effort it takes to make a good dagger sin.

the only advantage I see for dagger sins is in super high rates where you can buy cards or in super low rates where it helps for emp breaking. double desert wolfs and double skel orcs in each weap.

Most dagger sins would just be too slow, although I don't think it would be that hard to beat some of the sinx on our server with them.

Could beat "some" of them with an archer :P

tbh Ben your Sinx isn't worth boasting about if you compare it to the geared Sinx on the server. Almost all of then are pretty evenly matched. You win some you lose some. And dagger sinx have their place, so do katar sinx. So w/e

I have to say I am surprised though, the damage output is - as I stated, absolutely GOD AWFUL on anything with high def, but my word - the numbers are fun to watch flying.

On our server stun is dumb because almost everyone has 99 vit.

Actually I found stun pretty evective against most members in the Steel Wolves guild. Victor was on his whitesmith, he stunned them and then I cloaked by and stole emp.

Well that's silly. Stun is very easy to counter with a mild amount of VIT.

just saying 194 aspd + %stun even or a fraction of a second could be VERY effective
