alright guys, my new project is getting a prof with instacast. when I get home tonight I'll play around with items and post what you need tonight/tomorrow. hopefully this will be easier than a 195aspd dagger sin ^^

But Professors don't really need instacast. They have memorize and all their attacks are based off of de-buffing and the damage you can cause after that.

All you need is fast cast for 3 or 4 moves, then once they are debuffed and stone cursed, you hit them with a double cast firebolt and pretty much no matter who it is, they are dead.

Is it just me, or is this getting out of hand?

Instacast = get 150 dex by any means possible. Bless, stat up foods, anything.

I think some people should have figured it out by now.

...but if you're doing this to insult people's intelligence, then by all means, do continue.

Insta-cast isn't impossible, my Sniper has Insta-Cast :)



Now for classes that actually need it, I think it's impossible, and useless. The way the delays are set up right now even if you had insta-cast, you wouldn't be able to do anything with it. the 1 second delay(or more) is what will get you killed.

with sages, the bolt's delay is the animation delay, so instacast means you can spam bolts like no tomorrow. seems pretty useful to me

In order to get insta cast you will be sacrificing your matk to do so. So what if you can spam bolts. It will take you about 6 to do so, and that is assuming that who you are fighting does not have any mdef. As I said before, Professors are not an offensive class, the wizards are made for that.

My wizard has been doing this since I got it to above job level 20. I just need vampire wings with vesper card and I have instant cast without blessing or foods.

Wizards also have better dex bonuses than professors.

While it is true that Professors are great without instant cast with their various other skills, one can't say that you wouldn't want to play around with that ability anyways. At least I wouldn't mind playing around with it..

Overall though, I shall dabble in it when the chance comes by I get such items towards it. It's in the workings.. >.===.>
