I've been playing on dRO for as long as I can remember, I'm still active. I know the server, I know the rules, I know the admins, and I know the game inside out.

Can I be a GM please?

Other people please feel free to give reasons for & against that. Even suggest other people.

One thing is apparent though : We need a new GM - I haven't seen an event take place for over a month - and that's not good.

I did an event last week, but I do see your point entirely too well.

Ben would make a fine GM. He's not a lurker and he's always on.......two pluses.

I just wanted to say sorry for my absence, it has been finals month at school so I have been extremely busy. And most of the times I have been on, I have not seen Ben.

An added benefit is that my time zone is fairly mutual with all players I guess?

For me, the early evening is early afternoon for the American / Canadian players. I catch the Australians either morning or Night, and any Europeans are in my time frame so, it works out well.

I'd have to agree, I'm on daily for 10+ hours each day, and yeah I do see gm's from time to time, but there is rarely an event. kinda makes it hard to get those event tickets I so desperately need. :P Good thing is im on enough to catch the few that have been done and have accumulated 9 thus far. lol.


If this was an application for an event gm only, i would apply myself or vote for Gaara. More events are always a nice change from the day to day grinding.

And well, when you're here for such a LONG LONG LONG LONG LONG time, people get to know who you are and how you act and can make decisions based on that.

Also, after the Xenaku mistake, the GM team is being rather cautious about new inductees into GMness.

Maybe someday, just keep playing.

I know the GM team have had problems in the past with the way in which I have addressed matters, but my philosophy has always been from a PLAYERS perspective.

I have always believed that whatever I know - the Community has the right to know, because while the admins pay for & run the server, we are the players, so it is as much ours as theirs (and some of us pay for it too.)

Even if you say I am not a suitable GM, I would like to believe that regardless of how I react to situations which I admit, may not always be "ideal" - I ALWAYS act for the best of the server and I think most people who have been here for a while will know that I am always at the forefront of trying to stamp out any injustices we have :P

If nothing else, I'd like to give something back to a community that has given me a LOT over the years I have been a part of it. Not just by contributing funds, opinions or raising issues, but I'd like to actually be able to make the community a better place by making it more fun & controlled.
Events, GM help, quests - which I have already written a few of, server issues & concerns, all those things that make an RO server more than just a place to play, but a life style! :D

I vote for kanoga too. He is the hardest lurker ever. I learned how to play dead on a novice from him. Thats why there is almost always a dead novice in town......
