But the Seal quests are NOT CURRENTLY WORKING.

Whether they worked for ShadO is totally irrelevant.

They don't work now, so I suggest just putting the items required in the official quest into a post for us or fixing the NPC's for the seals.



P.S - ShadO attempted to unlock Sleipnir with me after I explained to him about the problem, he was also unable to go further than the 2nd seal.....

*TIME TO CLEAR UP PROBLEM*

when it worked for me, it took me about 3 months. this time was spent 1/2 doing the quests, and the other half bugging jay about fixing scripts (which I found and helped him sort through in order to find the problems) when we changed clients a little while back, a lot of NPCs started acting up (I.E. job changer) and it it VERY likely that the Npcs that jay modified were reverted to their unmodified state.

in summary

YES the npcs DO work.

NO the npcs DO NOT work without the modifications to their scripts

also please note, waiting for these fixes to be made by the admins is, sorry to say, part of the quests. (if not, then from now on it is.) no special accommodations will be made, and ABSOLUTELY NO FORUM QUESTS will be posted or allowed. feel free to discuss this to your hearts content. however, as of right now any debate is officially closed.

Ben what he is saying is the NPCs DO work with the official quests, but they have been altered on dRO slightly to accomidate the lower population. usually it is required that 50 some players unlock each seal, but we lowered that number before the client got updated and now it needs to be set back. So it does make sense to say that the NPCs do work, they just need to be fixed. they are just not working how you want them to work.

Can we make them work how I want them too then ? :D

Yea I remembe something about 50 people needing to do the seal quests or something before ONE person can make a god item. Then it resets or something. Yea but thats not gonna happen on dRO because of the low population. I dont mind waiting but what would happen if I made 50 different characters and did the seal quests. Would it work>?

It is something like that. And if someone gets the starting god item it all starts over again. Can't remember how the whole thing went. I had the quest pages on my computer but my computer broke. I'm sure you could find it on google.

If you want to make 50 different chars lvl 70+ second class then be my quest, it should work then, but you can only get 1 god item, I do not think that you can repeat the quest using the same characters a second time. But I am not sure about that.

And Ben, we cannot make them work the way you want too. I appreciate the sarcasm, but its not needed right now.

Yes the same characters can be used to unlock the god items again, or else no one on iRO or kRO would EVER be able to obtain them. I think they are originally supposed to be BOP. So you couldn't pass them around to your friends and hookers you hang out with in game.

Well in that case you should be able to do the quests if you have enough characters to complete them. But I do not know if they are bound to anything, but they should be IMO.

So 50 70+ characters on different accounts, or can they be on the same account? If its on the same account I dont really mind that much but its still a huge drag.

50 70+ ASCENDED characters and they can be from any account.

They do need to be high class though, so doing 50 of those on your own will take a while.
