Give Me A Moment
give me a moment
don't slip away
i've much to tell you
so much to say
life is but fleeting
stay here with me
one moment longer
i beg of thee
give me a moment
to hug you tight
tell you I love you
that it's alright
give me a moment
just you and I
give me a moment
to say goodbye

Letters
an old tattered box
musty yellow pages
browning ink
rivers flow from a lady's eyes
almost missing longing words
dreams far lost
his gentle caress
masculine scent
a fading kiss
one's life spent

My Glowing
i roamed night looking a fright
the waning moon shining bright
upon the wicked mire the glow of faery fire
beckoning in the night
yearning to bask in the warm soft glow
my feet fly swiftly through the meadow
not caring to wait til morn brings the dew
my shadow lags far behind the misty flight of mine
i came upon the light so mellow
it kissed my hair with its soft tender touch
enveloped in its glow I dare not move
the reeds whistling softly in the sweet breeze
the gentle lapping of the water on my knees
reminds me of places and times been and yet to be

Sisters Forever
sisters do not have to be
blood kin or family
sisters are two halves
of a lonely soul
keeping each other company
while the world turns in turmoil
sisters may not see each other every day
they are not bound by the bonds of time
nor are they bound by the bonds of the world
they are bound by the one thing that cannot be broken
that bond if true....is called love
my sister is far away
but she is yet my sister as if she were here
sisters always
sisters forever

Widow's Death
long fragile legs wrapped around the soft silver globe of silk
come hither my darlings! come hither! lest I not see, lest I not see
the makings of my toil
oh great joy darlings! the day is dawning gold and warm
come hither and drink deep the rays before I lay to slumber
my darlings, thou art lazy and slothful!
come hither that I may see thee before the day sets on me
tiny murmurs from within the silken globe cry out
mummy dear, we are here do not forsake us in our waking moments
we are here we are here but alas no answer come
not believing they must see their dream shattered before them
they mill about uncertainly in the warming light
a tiny thread begins to show from spinnerets they show
how to fly, how to fly upon the wind so high
one by one they fly into the sky
carried off to begin their dreams

Caught
caught in your arms
i dare not move
trapping embrace
of your wonderful love
what joy is this
of mine to be had
it's not mine, but ours
of that I am glad
cradle me gently
i will not break
we cuddle through the night
until the dawn we awake
shower me softly
with your sweet kiss
i want to show you
the most sultry bliss
hunger for me
as I hunger for you
you know for sure
that I love you

Song
the song of the rain sweeps through the air
drowning out sorrow in its' cleansing fall
bringing life to the land without the help of man
it roars across meadows filling barren streams
renewing the dying earth with its' lifegiving waters
charging through on the wind, it's gone in a flash
giving life to the dying lying in its' path.

*snaps fingers*
Here's a haiku that means a lot to me.
hello, this is me
constantly sleeping
until I wake up
Oh god, beautiful.
