So I have yet to hear from CuisinartBlade.

I'm away for the next week, and if at that point I haven't heard back from him we may be switching server hosts. All data will be saved, all characters will be fine. One way or another, we should have the server back up after next week :blobwink:

Update: We are setting up server in a new location. DragonRO should be back up in the next few days :lol:

Maybe he got arrested for raping our innocence :X

I wanna hunt MVPs with everyone......but we should form real parties, instead of all just bringing out 99 Snipers and murdering things.

We should all make 99 second classes and then go kill some hard core mvps haha

I can use my alchemist is level 95/50. And it has a pownage homunculus, hits more than my LK.

Or I'll bring my 99's I worked my ass off to level and laugh at your suggestion of bringing a weak 2nd class.

lol Dan, all I was getting at was its not going to be cool MVPing if we all just bring 99 snipers with like 194~195 atk speed.

lol. One thing I learned about RO is there is no real reason to think about your groups. 4 snipers and 1 healer can take down ANY mvp in the game. Stun lock and the damage output is just to outrageous.

Correct, but I have to disagree in the case of Ifrit and maybe even Fallen Bishop.

We are going to need an HW with IC and a clown with poem of bragi to get rid of the constant output of slaves. And Ifrit spams pneuma like heal so snipers are useless except for getting rid of the byorgues that always pop out of nowhere.

The main damage dealer will be the HW

We need

Clown
HW
HP * 2
Sniper
Creator

The HP as a tank can only really do one thing.

Just carry a GTB and spam safety wall in the 5 surround cell strategy. Then just walk around.


Then when Ifrit starts spamming land protector we need a creator to finish it off. \

This is just one strategy I can think of.

So im fully patched but I still cant connect to the server.

Is the full installer updated, should I just download and reinstall that?

I'm looking for people to jump on and start testing to see if they're having issues connecting. Everyone EXCEPT GOHAN (i already know you have issues), if you wouldn't mind reinstalling your client and updating Sakray completely, then updating dRO completely. I want to see how many of you have issues getting onto the server.

Once you figure out you had an issue getting onto the server, please don't spam this board with "I can't get on the server, what do I do", send me an email instead. Send me your username (what you go by on the forum is fine, not the RO login name) so I can write down who had issues, and possibly figure out why Gohan is having problems. If it's just gohan and madatsubomi (and madat always has issues connecting, he's on dialup ;) ) then I'm going to say it's simply their connection that is the issue, but if we're getting a stream of people who can't connect, i'll need to investigate further into what the problem could be.

No, the full installer is NOT updated. but I noticed a lot of issues fixed on my own end by reinstalling. If you're connecting from IP - 74.208.16.77 though, i DO see you connecting, you're being rejected by the server. if that's not you, whoever is connecting from that IP is able to connect, but is having their connection closed immediately. Reinstall and update your client fully!

alright thanks for the links. Im downloading atm 800 kb per sec and increasing so should be done in like 20 mins. Thanks again, hopefully it works.

The server is not officially back up yet. We are currently working with the new host to get everything working properly.

And that sounds like a well and good plan for killing Ifrit, but I would like to point out that all those characters exist on the server but mainly on 2 or 3 people accounts....how many high wizards are on the server, with basically insta cast? And how many people have high priest? I know we have a bunch of Creaters and snipers but I don't know of many clowns on the server....

We need to figure out what characters we have to work with on each others accounts before we can form a plan on what characters are needed to do some fun MVPing...

P.S with regards to what we can bring to the groups.. I think we all know the only thing I can bring XD

We should gear share though so that everyones epic'd up.

As far as I am understanding things Dan, this new host is just that, a host, not an in game player. He might have an in game account but he doesn't play, he just hosts the server. But talk to Jaylor about that choice no one else was asked...

Meh, i don't really care. He'll just add himself to the GM list, @item himself a bunch of stuff for his "Legit" and lulz at us for trusting him.


I might care for 20 min while I'm mvpin with you guys, but after that I'll get over it by ganking some noobs on WoW.

Hellfyre offered to help me but im just too lazy to do anymore downloading. Anyways I dont have problems with erroring I just cant get to the char selection screen, because it fails to connect.

Maybe my sclient is screwed up not sure, need new ip address.

Im pretty sure I lost most of my equips since the incident. You know my account Frost with all my equips on it was mysteriously deleted. Right after Heavn and Strike vanished.

But I have my mvp cards and my wings. Thats all I really need. The valk set was fairly easy to replace. Except as far as all of Morik's equips go, they are gone forever. Bummer.

Anyways im most likely using my priest so if Dan wants to use his sniper, hes welcome to use my bow.

I should still have all my gear. And I can pretty much gear up most classes cept LK seeing as how I don't have one....lol But if ShadO comes back online he can have that covered.

We've got the connection going now, it should work for everybody when I release the next patch (through the autopatcher, of course)

Lawlz, No Lie(unlike the cake), we could just gather any gear someone might need.

Even if it's worse than wow Dan, the point for me is - it's not wow.

You can play little & often on it apparently. I don't have the time for 4 hours of raiding 5 nights a week with a full time job anymore, it's killing me.

Plus I've played wow since it was released, so I'm really, really bored of it. :)

I feel ya Ben, I just got into WoW the beginning of this year(even though I've owned it since TBC came out lol) so everything is still fresh to me. Plus the new expansion is coming out November 13th, so I'll have more new stuff to do.

Yea with the ability to take down almost any mvp/mob in the game it shouldnt be hard to get gears for people who need them. As long as we all work together.
