I was wondering if some of you know about the way to get the Zodiac Spear. It say there is 4 chest that you must not open in order to get the spear, but what if I just touched the chest but didn't open them? In a guide from gamefaqs, it say:

- if you poke any of above four treasures, you can kiss Zodiac Spear in
[Necrohol of Nabudis / Cloister of the Highborn] goodbye

This made me ask the question.

Only Final Fantasy game I have ever played is X, and because of FFX, I sold my Playstation.


FFXIII looks promising though.......good thing I have a 360 and didn't drop $600 on a PS3. :)

I am sorry for you. I played Final Fantasy X, actually, i bought it, and nop. its the worst of all FF ive played so far :P you shouldn't give up to easily on final fantasy, the X was so diferent. The best are like the first 6 final fantasy. i didnt liked the 7, 8, 9 was okay.. and 10 nop, 11 is online so I didnt played and 12 is just awesome ^^

I really should play some of the other final fantasies

Same for me aahahah :lol: i usually stop playing when I reach the final part , there is alway too many blabla or too many boss to beat or just 1 impossible boss so you have to train... and.. no. loll
if you want to play some FF, i would recomand:
FF Mystic Quest (kind of easy but still great)
FFIV (there is the new remake on DS too)
FFV
FFVI
FFXII
FF Tactics (PS1 or PSP)
FF Tactics Advance (GBA)
FF Tactics Advance 2 (DS)

and I also enjoy Final fantasy fable : Chocobo's Dungeon (Wii) + alll the crystal chronicle.

in that order is the 1s I liked, just for the storyline.
Even tho that 7 had a more in depth story line >.>

People keep saying FF7 is so amazing. Maybe back in the day it was. I tried playing it a few years ago and turned it off during the opening credits. Seriously the graphics are trash, the sound is trash.( I know these aren't everything in a game, but it's 10 years old(?), I need something to keep me entertained and that trash isn't doing the job)

The only SquareEnix game I have ever truly enjoyed was Kingdom Hearts and Kingdom Hearts 2. I can't wait for the third part of that series to come out.

Like I said, I am willing to give FFXIII a chance though.

I didnt say 7 was great I liked 8 more and I still play it, and I'm going to give 13 a chance from what I've seen on the previews.

VIII was the best. Awesome blend of fantasy/sci-fi.

And FFXIII looks amazing too.

9, 10, 11, 12 fail.

10-2 isnt a real Final Fantasy IMO because it was a true sequel, which goes against ALL the other FF before it. If the creators of 10 were too lame to have the story come to a close in the first game they shouldn't have made it.

LOL I looked all over to find you that FFXII special edition when it came out and you hate it.....

I feel really bad Dan, I liked the game to begin with, but its just so....dull in my opinion, maybe after I finish school, I will start over again with it and like it better. I think I would have liked it better than 10 if I had more time to sit down and get into the story line.

What I enjoy from FFXII is that the game take part in Ivalice. You meet characters such as Montblanc from final fantasy tactics advance and even in final fantasy tactics advance 2 , you meet Vaan , Penelo, Montblanc, Al-Cid, etc.
