Error (Cannot init d3d or grf file has problem)


please help whats wrong I was playing lastnite no problems now ii get error

Make sure you're running it from the exe in your RO folder.
If you made a shortcut to DragonRO, make sure it's actually a shortcut and not just a copy of the actual exe

when I downloaded the game it put a Dragonro thing on my desk top an I was playing it fine till today I allso tryed that exe 1 an it don.t work

Did you install it to Program Files\Gravity\RO?
Try going there, and running droexe.exe and let me know if it works properly

no I was geting an error one of yall told me to install it to my document file so I did it worked for few days then I started geting an error

Are you running on Vista?

And do you happen to have 2 copies of dRO installed? One in Program Files and one in documents?

yes im running on vista an I have 1 dRO in documents an exe in programs no dRO in programs

Aha! I think you should try moving the Exe into your documents folder, unless there is the same exe already in documents. and make sure you run dRO from the Exe in the documents folder.

What is happening, is your computer is accessing the exe in the programs folder, but the exe has no where to run things from, because all the files are in documents. So if the Exe and the files are in documents you should be able to run everything just fine.

that still don.t work lol I even try redownloading it an nothing
